Functional Medicine • Metabolic Health • Root-Cause Wellness

Michelle Lehn is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with certification in Functional Medicine through The School of Applied Functional Medicine. She began her healthcare journey at Northern Illinois University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and spending the next 15 years caring for children and families in pediatrics. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing to become a Family Nurse Practitioner, initially working in urgent care where she developed a strong foundation in diagnosing and treating acute health needs.
Michelle’s path shifted when her own health challenges led her to explore root-cause, whole-person healing. This experience reshaped her approach to healthcare and guided her into Functional Medicine, where she found her true calling: supporting others in understanding their bodies, restoring balance, and reconnecting with their own capacity for healing.
Michelle approaches care with compassion, curiosity, and partnership. Her goal is to empower you to become an active participant in your wellness, to help you feel seen and heard, and to guide you toward sustainable habits that support your energy, mood, hormones, digestion, and overall vitality. She believes healing happens through education, support, and honoring the body’s innate wisdom.
